For the first time, we will have an <interact> pre-event. This event will take place on the evening before the main event, on the 29th of March 2012. You might ask yourself what is special about this pre-event? First, there will be a great speaker, the vice president of the Max Planck Society, Prof. Herbert Jäckle. His talk will be entitled "Science 2050: A glance back into the future." Second, it will take place at the Old City Hall at the Marienplatz in the city center, which is one of the nicest locations in Munich. After the talk we will have time for discussion and the opportunity to socialize with the other young scientists, while having wine and cheese and for the fans of the Munich culture "Bier und Brezn". |
